Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, and we keep the deposit on any cancellation or no-show. You can move your dates instead: more than one month ahead costs 1,000 thb, inside 30 days costs 3,000 thb. If you cancel, the balance you have already paid is refunded in full 30 or more days before your start date; 14 to 29 days before, half of it; under 14 days or no-show, nothing. If Blue Chitta cancels, you choose a full refund including the deposit or new dates. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days.

Cancellation by you
We keep the deposit on any cancellation or no-show, whatever the notice — deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable in all cases, so if your plans are uncertain, moving your dates costs less than cancelling. For the balance of your booking, where it has already been paid: 30 days or more before your start date, the balance paid is refunded in full; 14–29 days before, 50% of the balance is refunded; fewer than 14 days before your start date, or non-arrival, no refund of any amount. To cancel, write to us by email or WhatsApp. Your cancellation takes effect on the date we receive it.
Changing your dates
Moving your booking to a later date is possible at any point before you start, subject to availability, for a date-change fee: 1,000 thb if you tell us more than one month before your start date, or 3,000 thb inside 30 days. Your deposit moves to the new dates — this is the one case where it travels with you. The fee is payable when the change is agreed, and a booking can be moved once; further changes are treated as a new booking. Date changes apply to retreats, courses and trainings; classes, workshops and community dinners carry no date-change fee — just let us know.
Late arrival and early departure
Missed days, late arrival or early departure for any reason do not entitle you to a refund, credit or extension, and unused sessions, nights or meals are not refundable.
Cancellation by Blue Chitta
We may cancel or reschedule a program where minimum numbers are not met, or where circumstances beyond our control make it unsafe or impossible to run — including weather, sea conditions, boat or equipment failure, illness of key staff, government restrictions or natural events. In that case you may choose between a full refund of everything you have paid, including your deposit, or a transfer to another date. Individual sessions cancelled for weather or sea conditions are rescheduled within your stay where possible; where they cannot be, that portion of your program is refunded. We are not responsible for your travel, accommodation or other costs arising from a cancellation.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days. Bank charges, currency conversion differences and third-party platform fees are not refunded. Refunds on bookings made through third-party platforms are handled by that platform under its own terms.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment and freediving activity.
